STOKVIS PILES ON THE PRESSURE
Stokvis Energy Systems has introduced seven Econopress pressurisation units to suit a wide range of applications for both heating and chilled water systems.
Econopress PU231/PU251 and PU232/PU252 pressurisation units are fully automatic and self-contained, designed to maintain the required system pressure in both heating and chilled water systems.
Benefits of their sealed system construction include the elimination of corrosion, no expansion tank is needed in the roof space and a positive pressure is maintained on the system even at “cold fill” pressure.
The PU231 and PU251 models are twin-pump, single-system, chassis-mounted pressurisation units of 3 and 5 bar respectively.
The PU232 and PU252 models are twin-pump, dual-system, chassis-mounted pressurisation units, also of 3 and 5 bar respectively.

All four models are supplied with:
The unit’s base comprises formed mild steel which has been zinc-plated and passivated for corrosion protection and there are optional pre-assembled and terminated high and low pressure switches for the boiler and chiller interface.
Optional extras include a free-standing system expansion vessel , wall mounting brackets, buffer vessel , and high and low pressure alarms.
Stokvis also offers PU131 and PU151 fully automatic and self-contained single pump chassis-mounted pressurisation units. These incorporate a single-phase, 240V bronze pump, a pressure switch, a pressure regulating valve, all necessary pipework, a polypropylene break tank and optional pre-assembled and terminated high and low pressure switches for boiler and chiller control interface.
Stokvis can also supply the “Mini”, a compact wall-mounted pressurisation unit housing either one or two small pressurisation pumps and associated control equipment for connecting to small heating or cooling installations within large domestic dwellings or small commercial / industrial installations.
All the equipment is mounted within a 350mm wide by 300mm high by 200mm deep white powder-coated casing with a flush-mounted pressure gauge on the face of the unit to indicate the system pressure.
The cabinet houses a small make-up tank complete with its own filling valve assembly, complying with the Water Regulations Guide, a small hydraulic pump that can produce a pressure between 0.7 and 2.4 bar, pressure control switch, control circuit fuse, terminals and all necessary wiring.
Connections are provided to allow system makeup, tank overflow and connection to the system pipework as well as electrical terminals for connecting the single-phase, live, neutral and earth supply.
